Who is Betty Go-Belmonte?

Kai and I rode the LRT 2 last weekend and passed by the Betty Go-Belmonte station... I asked Kai how odd the name of the station was, then she told me she knew who BGB was because of me... And I was like, "What?! I shared to you who she was?" Apparently, I sent an email about BGB to our chorale yahoogroups about 2 years ago and I obviously didn't remember it, so I searched for that message in my gmail. When I read it, it sounded really funny and informative, so I decided to share it with you guys. =)

Hahaha. I suddenly got curious when i saw Chin's (aka Betty Go-Belmonte) So I decided to search about her in Yahoo and find out WHY a station is named after her.. Here's what i found. hehe
